Why families choose Drops of Gold Feeding Support

15+ years supporting babies and families
Paediatric nurse specialising in Neonatal Intensive Care
Health Visitor
Home visits across Croydon and surrounding areas
Personalised feeding plans with follow-up support
Most lactation support looks at feeding in isolation. I look at your whole baby - because I'm also a paediatric nurse and health visitor, not just an IBCLC. And I come to you, so I see how things really work at home, not just in a clinic room - giving you holistic, evidence-based care that’s tailored to your family’s needs.
The name Drops of Gold reflects the value of every drop of breastmilk - and the precious support every family deserves. I combine professional expertise with compassionate care to guide you through breastfeeding challenges, from latching difficulties to supply concerns, with warmth and understanding.

Prices start from £140 for an initial consultation, with follow-up visits/packages from £60. You'll find full pricing on my Support Options page. I believe in being upfront about cost so you can plan ahead during an already overwhelming time.
-
I know feeding problems can't always wait. I offer appointments within 1-2 days wherever possible, and I always prioritise urgent cases such as poor weight gain or severe pain.
-
I don't currently offer payment plans, but please don't let cost hold you back from reaching out - get in touch and we can talk it through.
-
Yes. Many of the families I see have already tried several things before contacting me. A fresh, thorough assessment often uncovers something that's been missed - and as a paediatric nurse and health visitor as well as an IBCLC, I look at the whole picture, not just what's already been tried.
-
We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
-
I offer in-home visits across Croydon, Bromley, Sutton and the surrounding South London area, as well as online consultations UK-wide for anyone outside that radius or who prefers a virtual visit.
-
No - this is private, one-to-one support, separate from any NHS services. It means longer appointments, more flexible timing, and continuity with the same consultant throughout your feeding journey.
-
You'll receive a short pre-appointment form to understand your situation before we meet, then a full assessment either in your home or online, followed by a personalised feeding plan and ongoing support to track progress.
-
That's completely normal - you don't need to self-diagnose. Get in touch or book an initial consultation, and we'll figure out the right plan together.
If there's anything else you would like to ask about feeding your baby, I'm happy to help. Get in touch and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
